Affairs Chancery - A group within the First Seat dedicated to the wellbeing of natal constituents.

ambiont - A transparent, ambient intelligence broadly deployed throughout human space. The identity and privacy of those who invoke this service are persistently maintained, which results in a truly stateless and transportable experience, independent from one's location or possessions (although the ambiont service can reside within a physical device).

ampullae - Networks of specialized electroreceptor cells that allow natals to sense EM fields.

analog frame - A natal body made available for transfer of a host. By analogy, if the analog frame is the unoccupied house, the sanctified form is the home. (see sanctified form)

autotrack - A sturdy, gravity-hardened continuous track buggy popular on !Wamuhi, used to cross set routes over medium-to-long distances.

baseborn form - Natal aspersion referring to a visitor’s originating body. (see sanctified form, xenogenous)

bead - Natal term for “room,” usually oriented along EM field nexus points so as to make them feel restful rather than disorienting.

Bebetathubutiwa - Olivia's acronym for the home of the Fountain, and the natal home world, Tapuwathu.

bebethuti - Olivia's acronym for the natal term for person or commoner or stranger (aka common prime). Often used as an umbrella term, somewhat disparagingly, for any non-natals.

belt - A location within a magnetic volume as defined by its EM fields.

Beringia - The human-supplied nickname for the natal solar system. (aka Bebetathubutiwa)

bright-born - Natal honorific, conveying respect for a person of distinction.

canton - A type of administrative or territorial division of an orbital, like a state.

case - A natal construct class, often preceded by a number.

circuit - Natal term for a local year. 24 years might be transliterated as “four hexa- or doza-circuits.” (see cycle)

clean domain - A space untainted by non-natals, often phrased as “the realm is clean.”

codex sequence - That part of the echo that details the key to communication in the ursprache dialect. (see echo, ursprache)
