Personality: Despite the freedom afforded to all denizens of Vaix (orbital), she feels trapped on several levels. She wants to break free of not only her own physical limitations, but the inherent limitations of society.

Background: Was a dancer in her early life, but had to quit due to a connective tissue disorder. Since then, she has preferred more cerebral pursuits, such as poetry. She frequently swims and generally avoids high-impact activities. Although she had been lecturing about poetry or creative writing, she found it increasingly difficult over time, as if she were performing someone else's idea of herself.

Internal Conflicts: She thinks humanity is too safe and scared and isolated in its bubbles. She fears that they are inherently too weak, too soft, too fragile … as she is.
